Ingredients

Chlorphenamine maleate 4mg and also lactose, maize starch, E172, magnesium stearate, water

Warnings

Do not take if you are allergic to antihistamines or any of the ingredients, or have taken MAOIs within the last 14 days for depression. Please see your doctor if you have epilepsy, glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, an overactive thyroid, very high blood pressure or heart, liver or lung disease. Avoid alcohol. Consult your doctor before taking if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

Side Effects

These tablets may cause drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision and loss of co-ordination. If you experience any of these effects do not drive or operate machinery. Occasionally the following other side effects have been reported: difficulty concentrating, loss of appetite, indigestion or upset stomach, feeling or being sick, diarrhoea, tummy pain, liver inflammation, difficulty passing water, headaches, dry mouth, palpitations, low blood pressure, chest tightness, thickening of phlegm, blood disorders, allergic reactions, ringing in the ears, depression, irritability or nightmares. Children may become excited and the elderly may become confused.
