Ingredients

Pholcodeine 5mg/5ml and also: chloroform, ethanol, citric acid monohydrate, glycerol, purified water, sucrose, E104, E110, E123

Warnings

Do not use if you are sensitive to any ingredients or if you are suffering from liver disease, a shortage of breath or during an asthma attack. Never give to children under 1 year or use when pregnant or breast-feeding except upon your doctors advice. Do not take within two weeks of using MAOIs for depression. Use with caution if you are elderly, have kidney problems or a history of asthma. Avoid alcohol.

Side Effects

Some people may experience side effects which are: anaphylaxis, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea and constipation. If drowsy do not operate machinery or drive.
