Ingredients

Contains the active ingredient per 5ml; Bismuth subsalicylate 87.6mg and also: aluminium magnesium silicate, methylcellulose, methyl salicylate, sorbic acid, benzoic acid, salicylic acid, saccharin sodium, sodium salicylate, E123, purified water

Warnings

Consult a doctor before using if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, your symptoms are severe or persist for more than 2 days or you have diarrhoea that is accompanied by fever. Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredients. Not to be used for children under 16 years of age due to a possible association between salicylates and reyes syndrome, a very rare but very serious disease.

Side Effects

This product contains sorbic and salicylic acid which can cause dermatitis, amaranth which can cause allergic type reactions including asthma and benzoic acid which is a mild irritant to skin, eyes and gums.
