Ingredients

Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.1% w/v and also: sodium chloride, sodium phosphate, sodium acid phosphate, disodium edetate, benzalkonium chloride, sorbitol, hypromellose, water

Warnings

If you are pregnant or have a heart or circulatory disease consult your doctor before using. Do not use continuously for more than seven days. If smyptoms persist consult your doctor. Dispose of the bottle after 28 days of opening. Each otrivine pack should be used by one person only to prevent any cross infection. Do not use if you are sensitive to any ingredients or have had recent neurosurgery.

Side Effects

Some people who have sensitive nasal passages may feel some local discomfort when applying the nasal drops. Other side effects are very rare, but those occasionally reported include a burning sensation in the nose and throat, local irritation, nausea, headache and dryness in the nose.
