Ingredients

Each 20ml dose contains Paracetamol Ph Eur 1000mg, promethazine hydrochloride Ph Eur 20mg, dextromethorphan hydrobromide Ph Eur 15mg and also: glucose, ethyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol, sodium cyclamate, acesulfame K, sodium acid citrate, E211, medicated flavour, E104, E131, water

Warnings

Night burse is a complete night-time cold treatment. Contains paracetamol, do not take with any other paracetamol containing products. Do not take with any other products for the relief of flu, colds or congestion at night or with alcohol. Do not take if you are allergic to any ingredient, you have kideny or liver problems, you are taken or have taken in the last 14 days MAOIs for depression, you are having a pregnancy test carried out on your urine, suffer from epilepsy, alcoholism, brain injury or disease. Talk to your docotr before using if you have asthma or other breathing problems, glaucoma, urinary retention, prostate problems or heart problems. Do not take if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the case of overdose, even if you feel well.

Side Effects

Night nurse may cause drowsiness but as the product is intended to be taken only at bedtime this sohuldnt be a problem. Occasionally some people may get skin rashes and other allergic effects or become extra sensitive to sunlight. Movement difficulties, dry mouth, blurred vision, disorientation, restlessness and dizziness may also occasionally occur. Some people may occasionally get an upset tummy or experience difficulty in passing urine. All these effects should go away once you stop the medicine.
