Ingredients

Loperamide Hydrochloride 2mg and also: maize starch, lactose monohydrate, povidone, sodium starch glycollate, magnesium stearate. The shell contains: E172, E171, E131

Warnings

These capsules should not be taken by children under 12 years. Do not take if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients, are pregnant or breast-feeding, have constipation or inflammation of the bowel, have IBS, have abdominal distension which provides bloated stomach, have acute dysentery or have liver problems.

Side Effects

The most common side effects are feeling sick, vomiting and stomach cramps. In addition tiredness, drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, Steven-Johnson syndrome, flatulence and indigestion/heartburn may occur. Occasionally difficulty urinating, constipation, bloating of the stomach and blockage of the intestine have been reported. Allergic reactions have been reported rarely.
