Ingredients

Loperamide 2mg and also: lactose, maize starch, talc, magnesium stearate. The capsule shell is made up of E171, E172, E132, E127 and gelatin

Warnings

Not recommended for children under 12 years. Imodium is for the symptomatic relief of diarrhoea only and is not a substitute for rehydration therapy. Talk to your pharmacist or doctor before using if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breast-feeding. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, if your doctor has told you that you have a coditions where slowing of the stomach or intestine should be avoided, for example, constipation, bloated tummy, inflammation of the bowel. If you suffer from liver disease tell your doctor before taking. If your diarhhoea symptoms persist for more than two weeks consult your doctor.

Side Effects

It is very rare to experience the following symptoms: tummy cramps, feeling sick, vomiting, indigestion, tiredness, drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth and skin reactions.
