Ingredients

The active ingredients is hypromellose 4500 BP 0.3% w/w. Other ingredients include: purified water, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, borax, boric acid, benzalkonium chloride 0.01% w/w. It also may contain sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid.

Warnings

For external use only. Before using you should tell your doctor or pharmacist if you know you are sensitive to any of the ingredients, are pregnant, plannig to become pregnant or are breast-feeding. Soft contact lenses should not be worn during the period of treatment.

Side Effects

Sometimes hypromellose may cause blurred vision or stinging after they are applied to the eyes. If this is the case do not drive or operate machinery. These effects are normally minor and temporary. If you have eye irritation which continues or worsens, or if you have headaches, eye pain, changes in vision or if your eyes become red stop using the drops and talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
