Ingredients

Each tablet contains 5mg of bisacodyl as the active ingredient. The tablets also contain lactose, maize starch, sucrose, glycerol, magnesium stearate, talc, acacia, white beeswax, shellac, carnauba wax, titanium dioxide, yellow iron oxide, methacrylic acid-methyl methacrylate copolymer, castor oil, macrogol 6000

Warnings

Do not take if you suffer from ileus, intestinal obstruction, acute inflammatory bowel disease, acute appendicitis or any other surgical abdominal condition, you are suffering from severe dehyration, you are pregnant, plannig to become pregnant or are breast-feeding, you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Consult a doctor before taking this medicine if you have been told by your doctor you have an intolerance to some sugars. If you need laxatives every day or if you have a persistent abdominal pain you should see a doctor, these tablets should not be taken on a continuous daily basis.

Side Effects

The tablets may occasionally cause abdominal discomfort (inlcuding cramps and abdominal pain) and diarrhoea. Very rarely allergic reactions have been reported.
