Ingredients

Each 30ml dose contains paracetamol 1000mg, pholcodine 10mg, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 60mg. Also includes sucrose, 5% ethanol, liquid glucose and glycerol. See leaflet for further ingredients.

Warnings

Contains paracetamol, do not take with any other paracetamol containing products. Do not take for longer than 7 days unless your doctor agrees, if you have liver or kidney problems, chronic bronchitis or bronchiectasis or if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Consult your doctor before taking if you are asthmatic. If symptoms persist consult your doctor. Immediate medical attention should be sought even if you feel well in the case of overdose.

Side Effects

Rarely this product may cause nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhoea or constipation, headache, blurred vision, ringing in the ears, irritability, sleep disturbance, loss of appetite, difficulty in passing urine, rapid heart rate, shaking, skin rashes, sputum retention and sweating.
