Ingredients

Dextromethorphan hydrobromide, diphenhydramine hydrochloride, sodium benzoate, ethanol, hydroxyethylcellulose, povidone K30, glycerol, liquid sorbitol non-crystallising, lycasin 80/55, saccharin sodium, capsicum tincture, menthol, peppermint oil, anise oil, citric acid monohydrate, macrogol cetostearyl ether, caramel, blackcurrant flavour, purified water

Warnings

Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients, are taking or have taken any MAOIs within the last two weeks, have a liver problem or have a productive cough, asthma or other breathing problems not associated with a cold. Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking if you have an existing heart condition, are pregnant or breast-feeding, suffer from glaucoma, epilepsy, have a condition where you are unable to urinate properly, have problems with your prostate gland or duodenum. Any drugs being taken to control a runny nose, eyes, or to control bladder may have their effects increased by using this product. Avoid alcohol.

Side Effects

The most common side effect is drowsiness and a lack of concentration. Occasionally muscle twitching, blurred vision, trembling, vomiting, rash, skin blisters, pins and needles and convulsions. Rarely dizziness, nausea and stomach upsets may occur. Some people may develop dry mouth with thickened saliva, palpitations and difficulty passing water.
