For treatment of vaginal thrush. Works by killing the fungus causing the symptoms. Remains effective for 3 days, after 1-2 days the most obvious symptoms of the infection, above all the itching, will disappear.

Ingredients

500mg Clotrimazole and also: lactose, adipic acid, pregelatinised maize starch, sodium hydrogen carbonate, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, maize strach, stearic acid, colloidal silicon dioxide and polysorbate 80

Warnings

Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients. As a precaution you should not use during early pregnancy, at any other time during pregnancy treatment should be carried out only after consulting your doctor and without using an applicator. You should consult your doctor before using if you are under 16 years old, over 60 years old or are suffering from a fungal disease for the first time, if you or your partner have ever had a sexually transmitted disease or if you have had more than two infections in the last six months. This product is for external use and should be used only in the vagina. If you have accidentally swallowed the tablet you must contact your doctor or local emergency unit straight away.

Side Effects

Rarely patients experience local mild burning or irritation immediately after applying the tablet. Very rarely the patient may find this irritation intolerable and stop treatment. Allergic reactions may occur. The side effects are very similar to thrush, if the burning, irritation or swelling gets worse see your docotr as soon as possible.
