Ingredients

Per 5ml of cough syrup: diphenhydramine hydrochloride 14mg, levomenthol 2mg and also: liquid glucose, sucrose, ethanol, glycerol, sodium citrate, saccharin sodium, citric acid monohydrate, E211, ammonium chloride, E150, raspberry flavour, carbomer, E124, water

Warnings

Avoid alcohol. Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients, have had a cough for a few weeks that may be caused by asthma or a cough which brings up phlegm, if you are taking or have taken in the last two weeks drugs for depression, known as MAOIs. Talk to your doctor before using if you suffer from liver or kidney problems. have prostate problems, narrow-angle glaucoma, an intolerance to some sugars or if you are taking codeine. ASk oyur pharmacist or doctor for advice before taking this medicine if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

Side Effects

Dry mouth, nose and throat and upset stomach have been reported. This medicine may cause drowsiness or difficulty in concentration. If affected do not drive or operate machinery. If you experience swelling of the face, lips and/or tongue, skin rashes or fits/numbness stop using the medicine and seek immediate help. If you experience irregular heart rate, shakiness or difficulty passing water stop taking the medicine and contact your doctor.
