Ingredients

Each 20ml dose of syrup contains paracetamol Ph Eur 500mg, gluaifenesin Ph Eur 200mg, phenylephrine and also sorbitol, glycerol, ethyl alcohol, propylene glycol, sodium cyclamate, acessulfame K, sodium citrate, xnathan gum, citric acid monhydrate, coughsweet flavour, colours (E110, E131), water

Warnings

Do not take with other cold or decongestant products or with alcohol. This cold treatment contains a decongestant and an expectorant. Contains paracetamol, do not take with any other paracetamol containing products. If symptoms persist contact your doctor. In the event of an overdose, even if you feel well seek medical attention. Do not take if you are pregnant, suffer from liver disease, epilepsy, alcoholism, brain injury or disease.

Side Effects

Skin rashes and other allergic effects occur occasionally with paracetamol. Upset tummy may occur with guaifensen. There have been a few reports of raised blood pressure, headache, dizziness, upset tummy, difficulty sleeping and palpitations occuring with phenylephrine.
