Ingredients

Each tablet contains 300mg aspirin BP, 200mg paracetamol Ph Eur, 45mg caffeine Ph Eur and also: maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose (E460), hydrogenated vegtable oil, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (E464), polyethylene glycol, pregelatinised starch, povidone

Warnings

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or any NSAIDs, if you have or have ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding, if you are suffering from haemophilia or are breast-feeding. Talk to your doctor before using if you are pregnant, suffer from asthma, allergic disease, kidney or liver disease or dehydration. Aspirin has also been associated with increased risk of Reyes Syndrome when given to children with a fever. For this reason the use of aspirin is not recommended in children under 12 years of age. Contains paracetamol, do not take with any other paracetamol containing medicines.

Side Effects

Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose even if you feel well. Side effects with this medicine are infrequent but may include: allergic reactions: difficulty in breathing, skin rash, swollen facial features or a runny nose, gastro-intestinal: abdominal pain, nausea, indigestion, heartburn, vomiting and rarely peptic ulcer and bleeding in the stomach, blood: the blood not clotting well, breathing: wheezing and breathing difficulties may be triggered in patients suffering from or with a previous history of asthma, other side effects include changes in skin colour and shortness of breath. High caffeine intake can result in tremor and palpitations. Aspirin may trigger gout in susceptible individuals.
